Young toddler eats same thing every day
My almost 16 month old is super picky. The list of foods he eats is:
Yogurt
Fruit
PB&J sandwiches
Scrambled eggs
Buttered pasta
Spinach-banana muffins
Swiss cheese
Hummus
Refried black beans
Graham crackers
...and that's it. No veggies. No pasta sauce. No meat. For the most part he eats the same thing every day and I feel awful about it but I don't know how to fix it, either. I consistently offer new things and he will take one bite and then throw the rest. I give him a multivitamin to somewhat make up for any vitamin deficiencies, but I worry.
I know he should have a more varied diet, so please don't make me feel worse by pointing that out. I guess I'm looking for a little reassurance that his growth isn't being stunted or something and any ideas on how to expand his palate. TIA!
