boyfriend confessing he thought of breaking up with me

I went for a coffee today with my boyfriend (we have been in a relationship for almost 3 months) and at one point (he is very sincere with everything and i am actually very sensitive) he told me he had recently thought of breaking up but didn’t because he decided to talk with me about it first, because the relationship had become dull, since we are in pandemic we have only gone to our houses, I understand u can make it fun in any place, but the fact that he thought of breaking up with me hurt me a lot, and I agreed we could make more interesting plans but i feel like something broke inside of me, am i making it bigger than it is?
