Turning baby safe?

I have about two weeks fr my baby to turn before they’re gonna want to try and manually do it or schedule a c section? Is it safe for them to try ive read some horror stories and a few good stories.

There are a lot of things you can try at home before resorting to ECV. Spinning Babies has a breech protocol, elephant walking, putting ice on the top of your belly, etc. 
Your care provider should go over risks of an ECV, but you and baby will be well monitored. Many providers do still offer vaginal breech birth as well if you’re interested. Usually it takes place in the OR in case things take a bad turn and they need to get baby out quickly. Just be aware of your options before committing.

There are risks but that’s why you are closely monitored during and they are ready to intervene in case of any issues. My mom had it done 3 times. One didn’t work, one flipped then flipped back a few days later 🤦🏻‍♀️ and the last one remained flipped. We are a stubborn bunch 😂 all adults now.
My mom did have 2 vaginal breach deliveries but this was almost 30 years ago, I don’t think many doctors would agree to do them now.

I was given this option,  at 36wks , but my baby had alot of extra fluid, and was on the bigger side. My doctor told me that bc of the extra fluid there was a 20% chance that he'd turn back around 😳 . So I figured with that and the fact that he was supposed to be 10lbs at birth I would just go ahead with the c-section bc I was scared I would labor for hrs and he not fit (in the birth canal bc my 1st had a big head and they were saying the same for this one )and have to compromise his oxygen or blood flow while trying . So me and my husband talked about it and I chose not to do the aversion. I went Into labor at 36wks and baby was still breach so I got an emergency c. It was both great and sucky. My vagina was not hurt lol and delivery was super quick. But recovery was a little bit rough.

Discuss with your doctor.
Basically they do it at hospital, and if you go into labor there, all nessesay staff to deliver is there.
I personally would try that to avoid csection. Maybe it helps.
