Traveling ivf - local monitoring

We are looking into CNY when we begin our ivf journey so we will be traveling for retrieval/transfer(s). My question is about the local monitoring... do you think I can continue using my RE’s office for the local monitoring or would I have to go to an OBGYN? IVF at my clinic is double the cost, even with travel so I’m not interested in pursuing ivf through them but they have been apart of my journey for so long I’d like to still use them for local monitoring. I will of course ask them, but wanted to know if it was a reasonable question first. Anyone have any experience with this?
