Babywearing. How many hours in a day?

Hi everyone! Curious as to how long you babywear? I use a Boba wrap and is it ok to wear most of the day? My baby is almost 4 weeks old and he loves sleeping on mommy. He wakes easily when I put him in his crib.

I would definitely not babywear for sleep, but during the day all day should be fine as long as baby is in a good position and you’re comfortable. For sleep I’d say try swaddling or a sleep sack... most babies absolutely hate being away from their warm familiar mummy for any extended period of time especially that soon after birth. Is there any way you can put baby in a side car crib or bassinet right next to you?

My eldest son was a super clingy baby so I wore him when I was cleaning or doing things around the house, so I could get things done without him freaking out. So it was only like 1-2 hours each time

My first and second babies all the time. Half the day at least. Most naps. My third baby, less so, he was happy sleeping in the pack and play. 
Never ever sleep with your baby in a wrap, not ever it is extremely unsafe. Look up the safe seven of bedsharing and bed share safely if you and your baby need to sleep together. 
My first needed me to sleep with her, she was a hard baby, I totally understand. No judgement, you didn’t know, but please don’t continue.

Baby wore all day when baby was a newborn aside from tummy time and breastfeeding. Please don’t baby wear at night though mama. That’s incredibly dangerous if you were to fall asleep like that. I know it’s super hard but you cannot sleep like that safely. If baby loves the wrap they might like a swaddle in a bassinet to keep them snug at night. Make sure they’re in a super deep sleep and it should be easier to put them down at night. I know it’s tough!

I never baby wore. I think the max i did it was an hour one day. My husband is always the one that baby wears. For me its more annoying to figure out how to tie the Moby right and get the baby all situated.

I baby wear pretty much all day when my babies are newborns. Obviously apart from when I’m sleeping or doing things like cooking.

I baby wore but only for 1-2 hours at most while I was out and about or getting things done. It’s not safe for sleeping and also not good for muscle development for really extended periods of time- they need to be able to move their arms and legs about during their awake times for at least some of the time. If I was going out for an extended period of time I preferred for my baby to sleep in the pram.
