My son is 5 days old we’ve been home for two. My thighs legs and feet have been swollen bit now they have gotten worse what can I do to help? They hurt kind of too

I have never swelled during or after my pregnancy this is a first.

How is your blood pressure? Preeclampsia can happen after delivery. Sometimes if you had lots of IV fluids during delivery, it may cause swelling as well but better talk to a doctor.

Thst happened to me. Drink lots of water and pee it out... the swelling is from the iv fluids given for the epidural

Elevate them! I had swelling bad too in my ankles/feet after I had my first son and elevating them up on a pillow always helped the swelling go down.

When I had my son I had ALOT of iv fluids and I needed to units of blood for a blood transfusion. I was swollen just like that for 2 months. Even my boobs were swollen and clogged from all the fluids and transfusions I couldn't even breastfeed.
