Will he prefer formula over breast milk??

I have a two month old on the 28th. I used to have a oversupply since my baby was 2 days old. And he’s strictly breastfed, the occasional bottle. Just recently my supply has gone down a lot. I’ve talked to my postpartum doctor and she suggested I feed on both breasts and if he’s still hungry to top up with some formula, atleast until I get my supply back up(she gave me some resources). Now I wouldn’t mind toping up my baby with formula (of course I don’t want him hungry and not gaining weight) but I’m so so worried he’ll end up preferring the formula over breast milk. Will this happen??
