How much weight did you lose in the first day postpartum?

I know you don't lose all that baby weight when baby arrives, but when I was discharged from the hospital, I was a mere 8lbs lighter than when I came! And 6lbs 1oz of that was my daughter! Is this similar to your experience?

Yes, but then then over the next 1.5 weeks, I lost a ton. Almost 3 weeks pp, and down 20lbs.

I weighed the same when I left the hospital as the day I went in. I was pumped up with a lot of IV fluids since I was induced. Im now 3 weeks and 3 days postpartum and I’ve lost all my pregnancy weight (25lbs) and I’m now an additional 6lbs lighter than the day I found out I was pregnant. Total weight-loss so far is 30lbs.

At my 5 day follow up I had lost all 22 pounds I gained plus an extra 15. So I was happy lol.

I lost 20lbs immediately (baby was 10lbs) 4 weeks pp I was down 25lbs.  I'm hoping to start losing more once I can be more active!

I was 20lbs down 4days pp. I’m 4weeks postpartum now haven’t weighted since then but I’m guessing I have lost another 10lbs.

I gained 17 total and was down 10 at discharge and then another 2pds , 1 week postpartum

My son was 6lbs 2 oz and I lost 11lbs after being discharged. 1 week later and I’ve lost an additional 4lbs. This is my third baby and normally it takes me awhile for my weight to go down. I still have 35lbs to get to my goal weight (pre baby #2)😑

That seems similar to what I lose, there must be a lot of water retention right after delivering, eventually I lose it all but it definitely takes a while.

3 weeks post-partum and I'm down 30lbs. I lose a lot in water weight as I gain the most in the third trimester - I retain a lot of water in pregnancy.
I lost 20lbs my first week - baby was 8.5lbs plus and the rest since.
