When you go out to eat with a group of friends, how do you pay?

Option 3: one person pays with their card and everyone pays that person back

Recently seen a video online of a group of 25 people trying trying to do separate checks at a restaurant and the restaurant called the cops (?!) . How do y’all go about splitting tabs when out to eat or clubbing or whatever?

Usually if I’m out with my BFF we just split the bill since we usually order foods in the same price range and same for groups of 3-4. But if it’s a large party and everyone’s tab ranges a decent bit, instead of asking the waiter to split the check, we just use one person’s card and then we all cash app the person afterwards with our appropriate tab.

For the sake of this poll though let’s just say you’re out at a restaurant with 5 friends. The bill is $230 and your tab is only $32. But If you split the bill evenly your bill would be $46
