Family issues

Once again I’m back with another rant because I just need to vent to unbiased people😂 but I had my baby shower today. My parents are divorced and I invited family from my dads side to my baby shower and some from my stepdads side as well along with my moms side. No one from my dads side showed because none of them like my mom. They were able to show up for my graduation as well as my sisters graduation and will be there for my sisters wedding. I’m also my mom and dads first child to have a baby, so the first child to give my grandparents on both of their sides to give my grandparents great grandchildren. I’m upset and I’m mad as well because they didn’t even have the decency to come celebrate the baby. They’ve known for months about the baby shower yet they decided they weren’t coming because my mom was going to be there. Yet this wasn’t an issue when I graduated high school? Also should add my mom and dad have been divorced for almost 20 years now. I don’t know. I just wish my dads side would actually realize that they’re still my family and that I wanted them at my baby shower and the fact they didn’t want to come because my mom would be there hurts me. In a way I feel like I’m overreacting, but it’s just the fact they came to my graduation but not my baby shower.
