Is this a miscarriage ?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I just came out the ER because I was bleeding quite a lot when I went to the bathroom they just told me it was normal and when I came back home this was in the pad and I don’t know what it is it’s my first pregnancy can someone help?!

When did you get a positive pregnancy test? Was it before your period was due or how many days after your period was due? That would pretty much guide you as to whether or not they might be right about being 3 weeks earlier than you thought. 
Either way, whether you’re 8 weeks or 5 weeks, that is not a good sign for a healthy pregnancy. I’m really sorry.

I would take that back up there and tell them this doesn't seem normal at all

Did they do an ultrasound? Could be a miscarriage or could be a hemorrhage

It could be either way, honestly. If they did an ultrasound but didn't see anything you'll unfortunately just have to wait a little longer for baby to grow or bleeding to get heavier so they can hopefully see the cause of the bleeding.
