Best convertible car seat? And when to change?

Debating. Shes only 4 1/2 months. We were thinking of the nuna but I want to make sure the safety rating is good. Any suggestions? If not graco extend2fit looks good.

I just bought the extend2fit, my daughter is 1 and just outgrowing the height limits for her infant seat. I just didn't feel the need to buy a new seat before I had to, we just left the infant seat in the vehicle when she got to heavy to carry in it which was around 6 months.

Extend2fit is trash, get the rava if you can afford it. You will be SO much happier.

We have an evenflo symphony and I have no complaints. My advice is to keep them in the bucket seat for as long as it’s safe! It’s far easier to get a baby all buckled up while you’re in the house with a bunch of room to move around rather than buckling them while in the car. 
We switched my son when he was around 9 or 10 months I think, because even though he wasn’t at the weight limit of the bucket seat, he was getting too heavy for me to carry him and the car seat.

Hate the extend to fit. My husband is 6ft and it is too big in our Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I love my Britax One4Life. However the best seat is one that fits your child properly and safely and can fit in your car safely. Not all seats work in all cars. Both my Britax seats fit in both our SUVs but it fits much better in my Honda CRV than my hubby's Mazda CX-5
