Should I be more supportive of my brother
So my brother has always been the dad type and always wanted kids. He pretty much raised me and I know he will make a good dad. Him and his long term girlfriend recently broke up so he has decided he wants to adopt a child on his own. I told him there's no need to rush, and he will find love, but he says since he's already in his 30's, he wants to have a child before he's 40 so he won't be as tired chasing around a kid. I did remind him adoption can take years, especially for a single parent but he just said "Then I might as well get the process started now". I personally just can't see why he would WANT to be a single parent. He's pretty much already put a lot of thought into it and he's even planning on transferring to work from home until his kid is old enough to go to school. He seems to really want to do this. He's already planning everything out. I get he wants a kid, but why not just wait a few more years until he meets the right one. He will be a great parent, I have no doubt about that. Just think it would be easier on him if he had a mom.
