Toddler waking up newborn

Every time I get my newborn to sleep during the day, my toddler wakes her up. Even if we go to a completely different part of the house. She screams and goes crazy and it wakes the baby. It’s causing my newborn to not get any sleep during the day and she is overtired. In turn, I am not getting great sleep at night.

Suggestions?

I should edit this to add: She naps mostly in a swing or lounger. She isn’t in her nursery yet. So she naps in common areas.
