Have you been sending your child to day care/school in person or allowing them to play sports during the pandemic?

Now that my husband and I and most of our family are almost fully vaccinated, we’ve started to relax a little regarding covid, but I’m wondering if we should still be extra cautious due to our 4 year old son who obviously cannot be vaccinated yet. We both work from home and have been ridiculously cautious, but I want my son to be able to start getting used to other kids before he starts school. He’s never been in day care, but we are looking at pre-schools and debating on sending him this fall. I’m just wondering about other people’s experiences. We also signed him up for a free outdoor soccer class but I’m having second thoughts.
