Do you place a liner/cover over the changing pad?

Non- plastic changing pad. Normal standard pad with nylon easy clean up material.

We have a cover on the changing pad that’s pretty standard and comes off to wash, but then have a bunch of washable liners that we put on top too.
With my first, it was super helpful to be able to just swap the liner when it gets dirty instead of taking off the whole cover and washing it.
So many diaper changes a day and some are messier than other.
We have two covers and maybe 10 liners (some came from the hospital).

We do because it’s cold for baby, but i don’t think it’s needed since it is plastic
