Morning sickness at work ... advise ??

Hi mom’s! 
I’m only 4 weeks and 4 days along with my first pregnancy and I’m starting a new job on Monday 😬. I’m so nervous about having morning sickness at work. What have you all done to help with that?

There’s nothing you can do unfortunately. You could have no sickness, you could be throwing up every day. It can start week 5 and last a few weeks, or it can start later in first trimester and last several weeks. Every pregnancy is different. With my current one, I was nauseous until week 20, but I never threw up. At the peak I spent most days working from my bed (6-7 weeks total) but that may not be an option for every one. There are lots of remedies that help, and if you only get a mild case, you could manage it at the office. Just cross that bridge when you get there. If you get really sick, it’s debilitating and you will just have to let your job know. It’s out of your control so worrying about it won’t change you’re experience. A lot of women do get morning sickness, but a much smaller percent get it so bad that it prevents them from getting out of bed (like me). So odds are in your favor 🙂.
