Anyone’s baby have eczema ?

We’ve tried different washes/lotions. The doctor said eczema. So they gave us a steroid cream mix. Which was helping til I just gave her a bath and she instantly looked like this after. What do you use for washes? Any remedies??

Cetaphil baby eczema lotion & wash. My oldest son has AWFUL eczema. It would split & bleed & ooze, we applied steroid cream, but you can’t use that for too long & need breaks & then it would just start up again. We also really limit his dairy to help. He had 3 different types, face body & antibiotic cream for open ones. Then we applied vaseline 2-3 times a day. We tried sooo many different types of creams & as soon as we started using those it instantly made such a drastic difference. We don’t use steroids anymore now

Try using cold pressed coconut oil as a moisturizer (along with the steroid cream until it improves and then as a preventive). My babies never dealt with widespread eczema like this, but we definitely had our struggles with patches early on (and still do if we get slack with the coconut oil). We used regular Aveeno baby wash because it didn’t seem to irritate, but you can use an oatmeal bath to soothe in the meantime and then you might try just water, at least til baby is older. They really don’t need any sort of wash early on, just a good rinse is fine. And make sure you’re not bathing more than once or twice a week. Even just water can be very drying. Do a wet wash cloth in stinky/messy areas in between but that’s it. No baby wipes (and they should be fragrance free or at least sensitive (my kids still react even to the sensitive)) anywhere but the bottom. If there are issues on the bottom too, you might buy a ton of cheap washcloths/rags and try using wet cloths for diapering too. Sorry mama!

If you can get your hands on Renew lotion I highly recommend! 
My son had a very severe outbreak when he started teething and drooling..we tried everything you can think of. Store bought and natural remedies. Nothing worked..tried renew and it took two days to clear right up! 
And don’t use soap on baby! Try to find a good cleanser instead. Best of luck to you guys💜

We just saw an allergist this past week after having eczema for a long time as well. She said to not use super hot water and not
to use anything in the water. Just water. No bubbles or scented anything. When you take them out of the water pat them dry or air dry. Don’t rub. Then use a ton of really good lotions (I forgot which ones she mentioned, but again no scents or anything). We have cream from our pediatrician. And lube them up good.

Is the bath water maybe too warm? Our daughter is really sensitive to warmer temperatures and this is what she looks like if the water is on the warmer side. 
We use the aveeno eczema line but she still gets the break outs when the weather changes and the steroid cream barely helps. Just moisturize moisturize moisturize...

I use these three products religiously. My first had eczema when he was a baby, and it would patch up on his face too. After trying these we got it under control and I started using it with my second and will be using it with our third. You can buy smaller containers, the first is a balm, I used it on his bottom after baths and diaper changes. Second is the lotion, pretty much used after baths and anytime a patch started flaring. And last is the soap.

My son had exactly same problem,but his pediatrician told me as soon as you shower him,don’t dry him with the towel,but to put steroid cream mixed with a&d ointment,and for us worked very well. Now he has completely normal skin. Also just a&d ointment itself was very helpful a lot. I would put it multiple times a day. I wish that your baby gets better soon. ❤️❤️
