Laundry help!

I know this definitely isn’t the place to ask a question like this but I know some of you are experts in Washing clothes especially when ur comes to stains. I bought a brand new pair of red sweat pants, put it with a tiny bit of detergent and softer and put it in a cold cycle. Took it out and saw softener stains! I put it back w hot water this time for 10 minutes took it out and it’s still there.. any ideas on how to get the softener stains out of clothes :((
