Xulane patch BC

I’ve been on the patch for 6 months now, and get married in 3 weeks. We haven’t had sex, but am wondering the success rate on preventing pregnancies via patch. Condoms will not be a thing and having kids would not be the worst thing, just not the best time yet. I’m just curious if we should consider condoms for a little bit, or if the patch alone is okay for him to finish inside and not have to worry as much.
