I had a miscarriage on the first of this month my doctor told me to wait a cycle before ttc again but bf and I don't want to. Should we listen to what the doctor said or should we do what our hearts wants?

I miscarried 7/07/14, I was waiting for my period to start thinking it will be a bit out of whack since I mc but it never came and turned out I was pregnant again, we weren't trying through just happened :)

My doctor said to wait as my uterus might not be ready to carry next pregnancy so soon. Another MC could happen. So, I prefer to wait. In remark: I am still bleeding after my mc on 26th of August..

I miscarried on 9/7. We started trying again on the 21st. Not sure when to expect my period since I'm sure the pregnancy threw it off but as of now, it still hasn't came. Good luck to all of you! :)

I had a mc in July and had 2 light periods since then, then whilst on holiday 8 weeks later I had a massive bleed. The doctor told me that would have been my body and womb finally getting itself back to normal and that my next period would be really heavy, and to start tracking my cycle after that.  Period began yday and is very heavy and painful so i guess the doctor knew what she was talking about! Can't wait to start on my ovulation kits again!

They recommend waiting so there's a more reliable timeline. They usually estimate due date and when to get an ultrasound based on your last menstrual period, it's harder to do that when you have a miscarriage. I had my miscarriage a couple days before you, and we decided not to prevent this month, ended up having sex a couple times during fertile week, so we'll see.. Anyways, good luck, crossing my fingers for rainbow babies!
