TATTOO HELP!

Disclaimer: Before anyone tells me to go to the doctors, yes I have an appointment in a couple days.

I got my first tattoo in the beginning of this month. Kept the film on as instructed (for 4 days). Used unscented dove bar soap and unscented/anti-bacterial soap for cleaning, using Aquaphor/Jergens lotion to moisturize, kept it out of the sun - overall, did whatever was needed for aftercare. 2 weeks later I started getting a rash AROUND my tattoo, tried very hard to not scratch it. Eventually the rash died down, but a couple days ago this big red spot started forming on the tattoo itself (as shown in the photo). It is NOT itchy nor does it hurt, and there is no pus or fluids coming out. Highly doubt it is an infection, but possibly thinking it could be an allergic reaction? Or it’s imflamed for some reason?

Side note, I did not go to a “sketchy” place. I am of age to get a tattoo, as well as I did lots of searching for different shops prior to getting one.

Basically I am making this post to see if anyone has had an issue like this when they got their tattoo. In the meantime, just posting before I go to the doctors.
