Friend gives her 2 month old melatonin

I went to visit my friend who has a 2 month old baby. It was pretty late at night & I told her I’ll head out before her baby wakes up & she said “don’t worry, she won’t wake til tomorrow at 10am” I was like wow, are you sure? & she said “yeah, I give her melatonin mixed in her bottle at 7:30 every night. By 8 she’s knocked out & won’t wake up til next morning at 10. I’m tired of night wakings so I started doing it & it feels like there’s no baby at home”

When she told me this, I felt really sick to my stomach. Should this be reported? Poor baby 😞
