Why do I feel shitty?

This guy that I am talking to had his mom ask me to help him pay $126 monthly for his car insurance until he gets back on his feet because work had slowed up for him. He smokes weed four or five times a day and every time I ask him what he is doing he says nothing and ain’t nothing to do etc. I constantly get turned off cause I’m late you could be out here looking for work or doing something to make money. He did a odd job and made a little cash but now all of a sudden need money to pay his car insurance so they won’t cut it off. I am a single mom of two children and work two jobs and have my own house car and everything and he see that I’m not getting any help but still asking me for money. I gave him money one time and ever since then he has asked me. I told him how I didn’t appreciate him asking me for money much because I have children and my own bills and stuff that’s a priority so I can’t give money to him. Then whenever I would go see him ..I always buy the hotel and go out to dinner I pay etc. His mom even asked me for money before and after this incident with them asking me to pay his car insurance every month until he get another job is just confirmation I should cut him off. And so I did cause I’m not into being used but I don’t know why I feel shitty.

Not to mention I just learned two months that he had a learning disability and is on social security and he only works odd jobs to make money and his mom pretty much take care of all his business and honestly I would have never known until I started talking to him about more important things like credit, (in which he said he didn’t know nothing about) and other simple conversations. It’s just a lot for me to process for him to be 34 years old.
