Probiotics and gripe water

Pediatrician recommended probiotics for our colicky breastfed baby.. also said we could try gripe water.

The probiotics are a huge pain to give because it says to give on breast, in bottle, or with a spoon. When you put them on a spoon they get all over the place. We don't really bottle feed right now, and when you put the drops on the breast, it's a mess.

The gripe water is given in a larger amount so we can use a dropper. Can I mix the gripe and probiotics in a cup and then give them to her in a dropper?

Wasn't sure if it was safe to mix both even though they are basically mixed in her belly anyway ... Thoughts?

Please do not recommend a diet change... I'm not ready not willing to do the dairy free thing (long story)
