Did my bf give me chlamydia again?

I was recently diagnosed with chlamydia, i got it from my partner, i have not had sex with anyone else. I took my antibiotic dose to cure it in the afternoon , but then had”break up” sex with him that night. He’s getting his pills tomorrow, so he hasn’t started his treatment yet. Is there anyway this will ruin my chances of getting rid of the chlamydia?

edit: guys, i really don’t need the judgement. just help. I know it was stupid. I don’t know why i let it happen, but this is the man i have based my future around and just bought a house with. a simple “get another treatment” would do just fine.
