Struggling at being a working SAHM- teaching toddler to talk

C

I’m a full time working/ SAHM. My daughter is 19 months and I’m struggling to teach her how to talk. She says about 16 words consistently, and her pediatrician says she should be saying 20+. I had her evaluated by early intervention where she is average and did not qualify for services. While I’m relieved, I’m still struggling.

It’s very hard to get her to mimic words I’m saying. She understands what I’m saying, but won’t say the word. If I say “Mickey mouse” she will run and bring me her Mickey Mouse doll. If I say “where’s your ball” she will bring it to me. After I swear WEEKS of trying, when I say “where is number 1 and 2 block?” She will bring me the correct blocks and say 1 and 2. She babbles all the time and it sounds almost like sentences.

But I’m freaking out because by 2 years she should say 50 words plus form sentences, and she’s only saying 17 now. That’s a lot of words to add in 5 months 😰
