Bankruptcy

Anyone else here file for bankruptcy and get a mortgage after eventually? We filed last year and have been building our credit back up. We’d like to get a new home soon for our growing family. I’ve read some places you have to wait 3+ years after bankruptcy to get another mortgage. Anyone else have experience with this?

Edit: our current home/mortgage was not included in the bankruptcy so it was unaffected from the process (we caught ourselves up on the payment and have been paying it on time since)
