My 6.5mo EBF who refuses bottle prefers to nurse in a bed or a rocking chair. He won’t take a full feeding in different positions or when we are out in public, he has been doing this since he was 4 months old and it’s getting really difficult to have day trips out of the house, even nursing in the car is too distracting for him because it’s bright out. Unless he is really over tired He will only drink for a few min then get distracted and thrash and bite so I calmly end our session and try again at next opportunity but it always ends in super full boobies and a 24 hour clogged duct. Anyone else have a baby like this? Did it get better? Do I just stop trying and hope my boobs regulate or something? His weight has always been right on track.
