People who are controlling do it out of jealously and insecurity. They’re afraid of you being looked at, flirted with, or just looking better than them. They’re also afraid of you having some sort of romantic or sexual connection with the person who looks at you or flirts with you. It’ll only keep going downhill, it goes mental, emotional, and verbal abuse and in worse cases becomes physical. Sometimes people like this become extremely obsessed and possessive. Stand up for yourself. Make it clear that it’s your own body, not any one else’s and that what you wear is your choice. Don’t let someone take advantage of you, they’ll just use you and abuse you.
