Do you still cook after an argument

Do you still cook after a disagreement or fight with your man? My husband and i have these really nasty fight, i feel so strange cooking or doing anything for him after. I asked if my mom still cooked for my dad after a disagreement and she said yes. The difference is my dad is a civilized man, my husband yells and slams the door and calls me names or says really disgusting these, and he expects things to go normal after that
