SO with low sex drive?

My so and I have been together for 2 years and at first, we’d have sex every weekend (before moving in together) because that’s when I would see him. I have kids and I have them during the week so I only saw him when I didn’t have them.

We’ve been living together for 4 months now but we still only have sex about 4 times a month. He’s not a very sexual person. I’m not either but I want it a little more than he does. I know some men have a low sex drive but I have never experienced it first hand.

He’s not cheating on me, I know that for a fact. I did question it at first because I’ve never been with anyone with such a low sex drive. But now I’m convinced that he’s not. Has anyone else experienced this? What can we do to meet in the middle? Sometimes I’m sexually frustrated and we argue about it and then he wants to have sex but after arguing about it, I don’t want to. I don’t want to have to ask for it.

And no, I’m not leaving him. We do have sex just not as often as I expected and I love this man so much. So leaving him is definitely not an option.
