Do you think it’s okay to Fantasize about someone else while you are having sex with your Significant other

Just curious cause I was watching a YouTube video of a therapist and they were talking about that it’s okay to fantasize about someone else other than your partner as long as you’re not obsessing too much. To me think that’s emotionally cheating. I don’t think that’s okay. What do you guys think?

Depends. If it's a celebrity or something, that's different. If it's someone we know like a friend or his brother/my sister or co worker or neighbor, then yes, that is a problem impo.

Its one thing to have a dresm about another person even if it is sex but i would never imagine its someone else on top of me and id be heart broken if i ever heard my husband doing that to me

In a relationship I try to think along the lines of if I wouldn't want him to do it then I won't do it and I'd be extremely hurt if he were fantasizing about someone else while we have sex.

I’d say it’s weird to start fantasizing about others, I’ve fantasized scenarios with my partner but that’s it. But I feel like emotional cheating is a stretch, there isn’t any interaction between the two people and people can’t really help their thoughts. But everyone has there standards.

I agree with OP that its emotional/mental cheating. If you get pleasure from thinking about another person while having sex, rather than your partner then thats wrong in my opinion.
