Walker.. to buy or not?

My niece is 5months 16days old. She has not rolled over yet. My sister is considering a walker. Will it help? Google says it does not and ends up injuring the baby. 
I was hoping to get testimonies of mom’s who used it. Please help

Don't reccomended. It teains the wrong type of muscles and being long in it delays walking just beacauw baby can't practice supporting its own weight.

Our son LOVED his walker.
But yes, walkers arent gold for muscle development and our guy is pretty tall and grew out of it by 8 months maybe.. So yes.. He loved it, but I wouldn't have bought it (new) if I had known he was only going to use it for such a small period of time.
I would, however, recommend this type of rollator walker.
He's been using this since maybe 6 or 7 months and still plays with it, he'll be 1yo next week. He'll occasionally walk it, but most of the time he's playing with the front part.

We used one with our daughter a little bit, but I really wanted her gain muscles first so we got a couple different bouncer options and once she could pull up and stand with just the support of our fingers I started to let her use the walker here and there. I found the easiest transition to be from walking her by holding her arms to the walker so she could really gain muscle first and she could walk on her own by 10 months.

The only way to tell if your hcg is rising or doubling is by blood test. Pregnancy tests just say whether or not youre pregnant

Is she able to stand on her own? If no, then it’s to early for a walker. I personally purchased one and it was a good starting point for my daughter to get a feel of “walking”. I wouldn’t rely on it though. I would also have my daughter practice walking. I would hold her hands and walk with her. She eventually got the hang of it.

I was given one recently and my son seems to be okay with it. He’s still learning that if he moves his legs he can move around lol. It’s hilarious. But I see him trying to figure out how to step and walk. I think it’s working. I’ve heard mixed things about it. Idk about them getting hurt but I know he hurt me last night running into my back legs smh. Lol idk if I would have bought it myself but since it was given I figured I’d try it out. I think it’s serving it’s purpose
