Would you be upset if you found out your 17 year old daughter was pregnant? Even if she graduated school and has a boyfriend who will stay and is financially stabled? Im kind of going through this but im too scared to tell my parents and ive had this conversation with my boyfriend and he does not plan on leaving me and plans on being here for me. He owns his own truck already, has saved money, makes 2k every week. Idk what i should do though
And yall im not going to college and i dont care about spending time with “ friends “ because i never had none since the 9th grade 😂 which im totally okay with. my boyfriend has been my one and only friend since middle school. We have been going out having fun since we were 15 and it already got boring once i got older so i dont care about going out and doing stuff but i will do once in a while but meanwhile i want to take care of my child and for the one person who said my man “ might leave “ he wont, we already had a serious conversation and he said he doesn’t want his kid to end up with families who only has one parent ( no offense to my one parent families ❤️) since he was in that situation as a kid so please dont make comments like that it really breaks my heart.

I would be disappointed initially because as a parent you don't want your child having a child this young.  You want them to go to college and be young, to be able to be free to go hang out with friends without having to figure out child care beforehand. I would be supportive though and after a bit get excited. I would not make my child feel bad or like they did something wrong. Just make sure you approach your parents with a plan for health insurance, finances, and living arrangements.

Yes I would be upset. Parenting isn't easy and I wouldn't want to be raising another baby. Sure you've graduated and whatever else but you're still a minor. I'm sure eventually I would be supportive but it would take time. I would hope my daughter had a plan in place on how she and her boyfriend plan to take care of the baby once it's born

I would not be upset at all if my daughter was in your position. Pregnant at 17 can look like all kinds of situations, but yours doesn't sound that bad, and honestly I would be fine with it, I would be happy for her and happy to be a grandma, and just support her however I could.
I find myself now at 30 with no children, been trying forever, and wishing that I had gotten pregnant at 16 like my highschool boyfriend was so scared I would and convinced me to go on the pill. Pregnant at 16 would have been better than 30 and no children. Ever since going through infertility I promised myself that if my child has a teen pregnancy I would support them.
It's also a little different in my religion and my culture as Rastafari, we say More Life, and this is without exceptions - More Life is always better, Life especially the life of a child is a precious gift from the Most High and we honor it no matter when or how it comes. 
By the way your position now, with your boyfriend driving trucks and you two living on your own independently, doesn't sound much different than some women in their 20s or 30s. Sure maybe it's better if you own a home, have money saved, are married if you believe in marriage (I don't). But plenty of people do it without all that. You'll be fine!

As a parent, my feelings in this wouldn’t matter. There’s a baby on the way and I love my daughter so that’s all I’d focus on. But lots of parents would be upset. I hope yours aren’t because you sound like you’re in a good situation financially and a stable relationship.

Please don't kid yourself. Your parents are going to be angry and disappointed. I've also literally met one couple in my whole life that got together at 17 and made it work. My grands - they're in their 90s now and even they experienced cheating, etc. No one my age or younger.
 Personally, I feel like it's sad to have a baby before 30. I promise you that you don't even know yourself very well yet. You'll be a whole different person at 30. Your 20s are a time to get to know yourself, to travel as much as you can. Adventure. Unless you are VERY wealthy, it won't happen with a baby. 
I had a great, long run and I'm so glad I did. I'd feel very sorry for you if you were my daughter. I would probably still do what I could to help but my heart would be filled with disappointment and pity for you.

I wouldnt be thrilled. However I wouldnt lose my shit either, that wouldnt help the situation, only scare them futher. That being said I'd make sure they understood all their options. Parenthood, putting them up for adoption or abortion. Whatever they choose I'll have to support.
If they (or you) decided to start a family I'd be getting you a doctor and some prenatals.

I wouldn't be upset. My daughter is 16 and has an implant, but if she didn't have one and told me she was pregnant I wouldn't be upset. Nowadays women can achieve anything they set their mind to. A mature person is open and honest with another person.  Just have a plan of action and be honest with your mom. It will all work out.
