Has anyone been told by their ob that they’re required to take these tests and pay out of pocket? I’ve never had these tests done in my other two pregnancies and I’ve never heard of them. Grand total is over $2k..

These are the kind of tests they give you if you have had recurrent miscarriages(they usually test for more than this) and normally they are covered by insurance. I can see if maybe they need to test for something like those if you have an established immune issue but if you're otherwise healthy, I don't see any reason to take any of these.

Pretty sure that’s illegal. They need to bill insurance…and if it’s something insurance won’t pay then why is it necessary?

I’ve not had any tests that are pay oop in 4 pregnancies.  I’ve never had any tests with those names either.  I’d decline

Yes my high risk doctor had some of these labs drawn. Others I’ve already had drawn due to auto immune issues. My insurance covered it. Idk why you’re high risk but a lot of these test will determine medications (if any) needed throughout pregnancy and how frequently you are to see the doctor.

I had the ANA tests done but that’s because I’ve been officially diagnosed with arthritis and that’s how they tell if you’re having a flare. You have the right to refuse any test or procedure you think is unnecessary. I wouldn’t pay $2,000 for this unless it was life or death or I was in unbearable pain and this would give me answers. That doesn’t seem to be why your doctor wants to do it though.
