stupid ovulation question

this might be a dumb question but can you ovulate without getting a period ?

i breast feed and i got my period at 4 weeks pp, got a positive ovulation test a week afterwards and i tested a few day after and saw it was negative. i’m now 10weeks pp and haven’t had my period again yet, i took an ovulation test and it’s positive (i also took a pregnancy test even though my husband and i only had sex one time, and it’s negative).

so could i be ovulating without a period ? i know breast feeding makes your cycle go crazy but to be two weeks late after a confirmed ovulation test ?
