Boyfriend stopped taking his medication

My boyfriend is on ADHD medication and antidepressants. I noticed the past few days he has been more agitated and super hyperactive and not able to sty still. I asked did he stop taking his meds and he said yes. I was really mad and told him he needs his medication to keep him together, and he said he can't be creative on his meds.He draws and does animation on youtube and says since he's been on meds he can't do that because he doesn't feel creative, we had a fight both got so heated. He started crying saying if he can't draw he wants to be dead but if he doesn't take his med he REALLY wants to be dead so he might as well be dead. He's crying so hard saying he wants to die and I didn't know what to do besides hold him...
