Stitches From Accident

My baby had to get stitches for the first time after falling. I feel so terrible. They are almost healed but I'm worried that its going to leave a scar. Do you know what I can use to make sure no scar is left behind? Or if it does scar, what can I use to make it very invisible. My child is 3

I heard so far Mederma and scar sheets. Any other suggestions.
