How can I get him removed from my house

My ex who I am currently pregnant by will not leave my house. I am 5 months pregnant and he’s threatening me. If I call the police can they make him leave? He’s not on the lease and hasn’t helped with bills in months! I just want him to go!

I’m in North Carolina and he’s threatening physical harm. How soon will I be able to get a restraining order if the police removes him? He also threatened to damage my vehicle.
