Have you ever seen someone flirt with your partner in front of you? How did you react?

So I ask because I went to a car meet with my boyfriend and his friend the other night and my boyfriend had the hood open on his A4 to show the new intake he got off. For those who don’t know this is a 2L 4cylinder engine, tops out around 135mph, other than a cold air intake is completely stock. In non-car enthusiast speak its sporty and quick but still could be driven causally by your auntie. So not normally the car that draws the most attention.

A girl comes out of nowhere and seems a little high or tipsy or something. She sees me standing near my boyfriend and his friend but you wouldn’t immediately assume I was with either of them necessarily because we were all just standing and talking. It should also be noted my boyfriends type is latinas with hourglasses, this girl was white and thin/athletic build so already off the bat not his fancy. She starts trying to talk engines with him and complimenting his car but in the most oddly sexual tone 😂

“oh wow! You’re engine is soooo big😏 I looove how hot it gets” and I’m so shocked by how bold she was I thought “oh I gotta see how this ends😂” so I just looked at her and chuckled a bit with a smile and he just deadpan says “it’s a four banger but okay, cool” and she keeps going “oh yeah my V8 is a little smaller than this, yours is probably bigger isn’t it?😏” and I’m trying so hard to not burst out laughing rn because A she has no clue what she’s talking about engine wise B our other friend is making gagging noises as she’s saying this C my boyfriend looks so unphased by everything she’s saying and she’s not getting it😂

At this point he straight up turns his back and starts to walk towards his friends car to look at his engine and this girl just kinda stands there with a dumbfounded expression and goes “uh okay bye?” Then walks away and I couldn’t take it anymore and hopped in his car closed the door and laughed my as off😂

He tried to ask me later if it made me uncomfortable and when I said no he was really confused and asked why. And I said “babe if that’s who comes up to you and that’s how you respond I feel very confident in saying I have nothing to worry about” 😂😅 Today is our four year anniversary and it feels nice to realize we’ve made it to the point in life together where we can laugh together rather than me getting lost in insecurity or jealousy. I’m so grateful to have a partner I’ve grown with ❤️
