Postpartum surgery

5 weeks postpartum just had urgent surgery to remove my gallbladder. In the last 5 days I have had 3 gallbladder attacks that sent me to the ER and 2 attacks that I was able to suffer through at home. I saw the general surgeon yesterday for a consult and he said I urgently needed my gallbladder out as it was irritating my liver so he removed it first thing this morning. I'm so relieved to have it out but I'm nervous for the healing process with a 4 year old, 2 year old Breast, and 5 week old. Breast feeding is also proving to be an interesting challenge.
