12 month old crying inconsolably

It’s been 4 days of my son crying inconsolably. I mean I’m holding him in my arms the wholeeee day, he throws his head back and falls to the floor when I put him down. It’s been so tough and I’m 99% sure it’s teething. He often puts his hand in his mouth, isn’t eating as well as usual. I really just don’t know what to do - I give him medicine, apply teething gel, take him outside, play with him.
