🥺🥺Im pregnant and Husband wants to separate

My husband says he wants to separate for a year after the baby comes to “evaluate our relationship”… we have been together for ten years and married for 5. he says I don’t know how to handle him and his wife is “going to be a certain way”. By this he means, I can have a smart mouth sometimes. He wants to have the final word on things which is not so much the problem as he wants me to hush after he speaks and not challenge what he says. All I want is to be heard. And my mouth does not compare to the things he says when he is mad… or even the attitude he gives me when I don’t respond in a way he thinks I should. Of our issues to myself. No one sees him in that state except me. I feel like he is leaving me and being super critical at my most vulnerable time. And I don’t wanna walk on eggshells to avoid pissing him off. He claims he is still in love. I think other things in life are stressing him and he is deflecting it all on me.
