Anyone start dating or getting physical for the first time in their 30’s?

Question

I feel like I’m going to get hate for this. My younger sister is 29 and never in her life been on a date EVER or been physical with a guy. Totally fine, her life, not my place to say anything, comment, etc., and I really don’t say anything ever just as an older sister sometimes I worry about her first time navigating men and the dating world be in her 30’s. If she didn’t care to then w.e more power to her but she does often talk about being lonely and wanting a boyfriend.
She is on dating apps but is really picky or is at least using that as an excuse to never meet up with them and literally never has, not once. I’m also just scared of her being taken advantage of as she is so so kind and has this childlike innocence to her. 
She gets enough pressure from my mom so I don’t say anything ever and I don’t really know what I’m trying to get from posting this. I guess just want to see what others experiences of dating or dealing with men at any capacity in their 30’s for the first time ever was like? Just to give a sister a piece of mind that she’s going to be ok lol

it is so sweet that you care!!! i don't know that many sisters that would care like that. 
but just being there for her when she opens up to you and not judging her is enough. 
but at a high level without knowing more... maybe she is anxious so she bails on meeting anyone. dating now is so different than before. 
my husband did not date or have physical relationships until he was 29 (2 months before his 30th birthday) and had only 1 online girlfriend he met only 2 times in real life. i was his true first in everything. for him he said it took so long because he was super shy, self conscious, and he didn't notice the normal "social queues" when someone was interested. he was right i had to pretty much smack him with my interest in the face.

I can’t speak as someone who waited to get physical until their 30s, but I can speak for someone who it took almost 32 years to find “my person”. I can say that the men in the 30s dating pool are pretty much as bad as the boys in the 20s dating pool, especially on dating apps. You have to navigate your way through the idea of dating a man who has been divorced already, and those that have children (which are more than less by 30s it felt like). Since she hasn’t dated much, I hope she is consistent in her non-compromises. I found when I first started dating seriously trying in my late 20s, that I compromised a lot on how I could be treated. I was more willing to give 3rd and 4th chances, whereas in my 30s I said adios to a lot. 
I would just talk to her about what she wants from someone and you keep her in check with her feelings as she dates and help her decide who is and is not worth letting in for something deeper. Honestly,  she might not listen, but it’s worth a try.

She should get into therapy since she may have an undiagnosed anxiety disorder, or another reason that social interaction is hard for her. Good luck.
