The renting market rn 😩

We are currently renting a 2 bedroom apartments it’s small and with 2 babies they share a room and we get one. But they are increasing our $1550 a month rent to $1850 a month. 😞 first off we live in Utah. And this is cheap! We looked everywhere and there is nothing. We don’t make a lot of money so the little money we were able to save a month for a home one day is not rent. I’m so stressed about the future. Crying in bed. I just want to provide my kids the best. I can’t even afford to buy them the next size up in clothes. This market is crazy. It will take us over 10-15 years at this point to save for a home. And hopefully our finances get better but it’s so discouraging. Im glad we have a roof on our head but so nervous for next year. When they increase it again. Am I the only person who is feeling this way right now? Anyone else? We also have eh credit and can’t get a house because everyone wants over asking and 20% down. 😅 bank says you can’t afford a $1300 mortgage but you spend $1800+utilities and never miss a payment 😬🙃 makes a lot of sense.
