Does anyone have an input?

I just left the father of my child. I just can’t take the bs anymore and refuse to be a doormat. I have a 18 month old with him. Has anyone ever been in a situation where you’ve been in a long term relationship and left with a young child? If so how did it go? Did it work out.. did you go back? I don’t plan on ever going back, but I feel sick to my stomach! Maybe because I’ve realized I’ll be alone.. or maybe because I’m thinking about all the bullshit I’ve unnecessarily put up with. Maybe both.

A few months ago I left my 7 year relationship, we have a 2 year old together, it was very hard and even now I get sad days but he was abusive and I couldn’t live like that anymore. I get lonely and sad sometimes but I will never go back. Life moves forwards not backwards

Hey, me. I went through this with my daughter at the age of 18months but I didn’t actually leave he did. But I didn’t go back even tho he wanted to, it was painful for the first 1 n half years but it got easier, because the main priority was my baby. You can do it 🤍 you should be proud you left your situation, very proud. It’s ok to be a lone parent raising a child, but you won’t be able because you have your baby
