Bruise?

I don’t know if I’m over thinking things but does this look like a bruise? He has it on both sides and have been there for a while. Has anyone experienced this before, should I be worried?

Do you baby wear or use anything consistently that would be applying pressure on that spot? I ask bc i discovered that my baby carrier needed to be adjusted when I found bruises on my daughter's legs.

Work at a child Development center. Usually when I see this it is because either their diaper is too small/too tight or something about their car seat needs to be adjusted.
I wouldn’t be concerned unless you know or suspect your child may have some sort of blood disorder.

I would give it a couple days and see if it turns darker/green like bruises do. 
Like other rooster said, is something applying pressure on baby? Diaper too tight? Car seat? Swing too tight ect? 
Babies can bruise pretty easy, mine little guy always got them on his legs from holding them when changing, didn't matter how gently we were he just got little bruises from it. I think iron intake always affects that but that's another thing on its own.
