Iud ?

I’m 17 I have been on Jazmin pills for over a year I have really bad cramps and dilation problems I bleed so much i have had to have Iv fluid almost every month and take Iron pills I went to the doctor today 10/18/2021 and was recommend a IUD I am sexually Active and I was told there is no big side affect I feel my question were pushed off my stomach swells a lot when on my period and I pretty much spend my week next to the toilet I’m worried something my be wrong I have brought up the fact cystic and cancers are big thing on both sides of my family and they proceeded to say that IUD prevents both
