Mother In Law Issues

Hi ladies as most of us know mother in laws are something else. A special kind of personal hell atleast for me.

I've had issues with my mother in law letting my oldest call her mom and encouraging it, I've cried and gotten angry at her and my partner when he didn't want to stand up for me and tell his mom to knock it off after I told her no that's not okay. This was a year and a half ago when that happened.

Here recently my partner and I are just hitting a rough patch. He's been overworked at work since 6 people on his shift nights are out with Covid and other major health issues. So it's him and 2 other people working a shift / job that's supposed to have 15 workers. ( Yes I know 6 + 3 = 9 they are still trying to hire people and are unsuccessful)

Anyways we have been having some ups and downs and so we can get a breather his parents have been watching the kids. I noticed that my oldest started to call me my real name instead of mom or mommy. At 1st it wasn't a big issue to me. But the last timefew times he's been to his grandparents he come back home and refuses to call me mom or mommy. An tells me no grandma mommy you (my name) or he said no grandma said you bad. Grandma said you mean.

All in all I'm about to curb stop his grandma and she's going to wish the cancer took her out. She's treated me like dog crap since I started dating her son. An when I had my 1st kid accused me of cheating on him becuase our 1st is blonde with blue eyes. And we have brown hair and eyes. My partner was upset because he was blonde haired as a kid and it changed colors as he grew up. The same thing happened with my half brother he was blonde haired and blue eyes. He now is a dark brown hair and green/ hazel eyes. An like I said she was letting/ encouraging both my kids to call her mom / mommy and now this.

She knows she gets under my skin and she knows I'm about ready to knock her lights out, she's a horrible person she was just released about 6 months ago from prison for selling her pain medications. An she constantly is stealing from places and not just something small. I've seen her take a whole cart of groceries and only pay for 3 things. She will act all weak and pretend to be dizzy so people feel uncomfortable and don't watch her she will pay for those 3 things and then leave with the whol cart. I just am so tired of her and her bullshit. Like if she wants to be a bad person that's fine I'll let her live her life. But I'm not going to sit back while she is whispering bullshit in my kids heads.
